America’s Preventive Health Network (APHN) is the medically directed exercise programs, programming and operational model created and supported by Parks & Rec Rx Group.
APHN was conceived around a simple premise: exercise has been proven to be beneficial in managing and reducing many chronic diseases, and doctors know this. However, a recommendation to exercise has limited value if the person receiving it has no access to a fitness facility where they may feel welcome and comfortable, no qualified fitness professional to provide guidance, safety, and accountability, and no structured program to produce measurable and sustainable results. Without those pieces, there is no practical pathway to begin, no accessible system to support safety, and no meaningful road to success.
APHN is the operational model that connects all the pieces.
Physicians
initiate the pathway.
Participating Facilities
provide the environment.
Qualified Trainers
facilitate structure and safety.
Accountability
is baked in. Non-invasive metrics make progress visible.
Together
they foster a positive, supportive and highly beneficial participant experience.
APHN
creates the program environment that makes success achievable and sustainable.
APHN is more than a referral and a program. It is a comprehensive wellness ecosystem designed to make preventive health implementable, affordable, and sustainable; and better population health a reality.
